The South of France was so beautiful and had so many amazing restaurants. These are a few of my favorites from my time there…
SAINT PAUL DE VENCE
Les Remparts
Les Remparts was local to the village we stayed in, in Saint Paul De Vence. The burger was amazing “Le Burger” & the drinks were delicious. The Service was great and the restaurant had such a beautiful view. The waiter even took the prettiest photo of me during dinner and tagged me on their Instagram! This was one of my favorite spots we went to.
Le Tilleul
We stopped here for lunch one day. It was about a 20 minute wait so we put our names down and enjoyed such a great refreshing cocktail (I unfortunately don’t remember the name but it was something with lemon & prosecco!). We also shared a delicious sandwhich and fries. Loved this local spot!
Side Note: If staying in Saint Paul De Vence, it is an incredibly small village and options for typical coffee/lattes isn’t really a thing. The locals take off random days so I did notice they have very different scheduling. For example Tuesday’s were very quiet and most places were closed. However Monday was very lively in the village.
NICE
Maranna
Maranna is located in Nice, France! It was all great, very cute place! There are no reservations so you should expect to wait in a line. The french toast was to die for. Must try! The avocado toast was okay. My friend ordered scrambled eggs and they weren’t great. But, the coffee was good – we ordered iced machiattos!
Le Galet Beach Club
We walked to Le Galet Beach Club is after brunch. It was a great spot for Mojitos and people watching. I would recommend making a reservation.
ANTIBES
Ferni
I ordered the moscow mule & truffle risotto (this was my first time trying risotto and it was delicious. Everything was very fresh & rich in flavor). The aesthetic was gorgeous and the service was so great! It was a super lively area & they had free dance lessons outside in a courtyard!
Baba
Baba was part of the beach club at Cap D’Antibes Hotel. I HIGHLY recommend reservations. Truthfully – we didn’t eat. We day drank and it was great but it is a very expensive beach club. I do still recommend it if it’s within your budget. The mojitos were my favorite!
CANNES
The Carlton Hotel “Carlton Cannes”
We did lunch & dinner here! It is a fancier place but was super pretty! This is where I’d suggest going for luxury vibes. The burger was okay but the aperol spritz were great. For dinner they were having an event with a prix fixe menu. It was absolutely stunning and was in honor of a firework festival which was quite literally the coolest firework show I’ve seen. We had front row seating from our dinner table! Service was impeccable and food was good! I don’t eat a lot of seafood which is what the meal was but it was good quality for sure. (Firework festival was called “Cannes Feu d’artifice”)
